2 Process Flow During Pilot FLASH receives homeowner data from DFS
Homeowner data sent to WCEs as assignments WCEs assign assignments to their inspectors Inspectors perform inspections and sends property data to WCE Inspectors leaves publication explaining the program and future communications with homeowner WCEs produce insurance specific mitigation forms for each homeowner inspected if mitigation discounts are available for their property as is. Interim report sent 7-10 days after inspection to homeowner from DFS Final Pilot Report sent within 30 days of inspections that specifies What mitigation techniques can be done The cost associated with retrofitting Potential discounts available for retrofitting Post Pilot WCE receives homeowner data from DFS Homeowner data sent to WCEs as assignments WCEs assign assignments to their inspectors Inspectors perform inspections and sends property data to WCE Inspectors leaves publication explaining the program and future communications with homeowner WCE ensures accuracy and completion of data and uploads data to DFS Database Database analysis data and produces the Final Report Final Report sent by DFS to homeowner

3 DFS supplies the homeowner data that automatically populates the majority of the first page.
The inspector will schedule the inspection with the contact person directly.

4 Data will be collected for all sides of the home.
Data will be used to determine cost and feasibility of the available mitigation options for the home.

5 The majority of the data on the back will be gathered in the attic and after every side of the house has been examined. Inspector uploads data gathered on the sheet to the WCE.

6 Cover page of proposed final report clearly displays rating of property as is, the range of ratings possible depending on retrofitting activities and the payback period.

7 The report provides a cost analysis and payback period of each mitigation option available for the home.

8 Report communicates to the homeowner the benefits of mitigation
Provides homeowner instructions on how to use the cost estimates and mitigation option in the following section

9 Provides homeowner detailed mitigation options and costs available based on the seven techniques identified in the statue.

10 The report will provide cost estimates for each mitigation option which the homeowner could use to validate an estimate they received from a contractor
