Funding organization meeting 29/11/17
Meeting in Brussels to discuss:
Best options for collaboration
Develop common funder priorities both in terms of potential research funding (a Strategic Research Agenda), but more importantly other alignment activities.
Increase the number of funding organisations in the network
Keep the funder network momentum going with regular meetings
Develop the financial commitment for the ERA-Net with a view to including this in the H2020 work programme for 2020

29. ERA-NET progress in SCAR
April 2017 – ERA-Net proposal for Food Authenticity was submitted to SCAR.
Food Authenticity was scored 4th in importance of the 6 proposed topics, with suggested start in 2019
Already indicative contribution from the following countries totalled 6,188,000 €
Belgium; Swizerland; Denmark; Spain; Ireland; Italy; Latvia; Norway; Poland; Turkey and the UK.
