From the greatest advances in technology to a massive network of military alliances, the US military retains a substantial lead over the militaries of every other country. The backbone of this military greatness comes in large part from the economic prosperity of the US and the funds distribution that occurs from the upper echelons of government, all the way down to unit level. We will discuss the money flow in this block of instruction. Leaders will complete a DA Form 7566 COMPOSITE RISK MANAGEMENT WORKSHEET during the planning and completion of each task and sub-task by assessing mission, enemy, terrain and weather, troops and support available-time available and civil considerations, (METT-TC). Note: During MOPP training, leaders must ensure personnel are monitored for potential heat injury. Local policies and procedures must be followed during times of increased heat category in order to avoid heat related injury. Consider the MOPP work/rest cycles and water replacement guidelines IAW FM , NBC Protection, FM , CBRN Decontamination. RISK ASSESSMENT LEVEL: Low ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT: Environmental protection is not just the law but the right thing to do. It is a continual process and starts with deliberate planning. Always be alert to ways to protect our environment during training and missions. In doing so, you will contribute to the sustainment of our training resources while protecting people and the environment from harmful effects. Refer to FM Environmental Considerations and GTA ENVIRONMENTAL-RELATED RISK ASSESSMENT. EVALUATION. You will be given an exam which will include Review Detailed Expenditure Accounting Documents. A passing score on this examination is 80% and for International Students (70%). INSTRUCTIONAL LEAD IN: Before we can understand how to control our funds, we must briefly discuss how funds are moved from the upper most echelons of government down to the lowest unit level. The T-Code used in GFEBS perform the task is FMBB – Transfer Budget Authority or Distribution . T-Code FMBB is used for Annual Funded Program (AFP), Version 1, and Quarterly Funds Distribution, Version 0. We will be entering Version 0.

The Treasury issues warrants to reserve and guarantee funds availability. The Treasury acts as the “Bank” of the U.S. Government. When HQDA receives the Treasury Warrant, the Funds Execution Controller at HQDA will enter it into GFEBS as a JV to record the posting to cash and the equity to USSGL accounts. The T-Code used in GFEBS perform the task is FB50 – Cost Transfer. T-Code FB50 is used for Allotment, Version 0. The FB50 is used to issue a warrant.
