Materials:
Liquid tempera paint
(red, blue, yellow, white)
Sponges (petal shapes)
Cotton swabs
Cookie Trays
Cartridge /Construction paper
Newspaper (for desks)

3. Printmaking - Poinsettias
Start with the ‘CENTRE’ of the flowers…
Use yellow tempera paint and cotton swabs to create dots for the flower centres:
3-4 centres
Not too close to edge
(leave space for petals)

4. Printmaking - Poinsettias
Printmaking – Using Sponges to ‘Stamp’
Dip (or brush) paint onto sponge
Press sponge around centres of each flower
Add leaves with smaller sponges
