HOPSCOTCH EL TRUEQUE Girls and boys played this game in the street during all the year. Age related this game: 8,9,10… They had to paint a particular design with a piece of chalk on the floor. By turns they threw the stone inside the design. If the stone went out, you lost your turn. After putting the stone inside, you had to jump with an only foot ot two: reaching the top in order to rest, coming back to the first position. The winner was who made all the steps without trowing out the stone.

The target of the game is to get seven and a half. We need 3 coins and we have to paint a design on the floor. By turns the coin is thrown into the design. If the coins go out you lose your turn. SEVEN AND A HALF SIETE Y MEDIA

SPINNING TOP TROMPO o PEONZA The cord is wound on the spin and throw on the floor, starting to dance. Players perform each run and then each player maneuvers to win the game.

THE TOPS LAS CHAPAS The winner is who get the finishing line firstly Boys used to paint the tops with football players or cyclist famous´faces. This is a cheap game indeed since you only need tops from the bottles to play it. You have to design a circuit on the paviment with a piece of chalk. The most important thing is to design it with a lot of bends, narrowing, straight lines and obstacles to jump. The players place their tops in the starting line and each player has to throw the top with their fingers. If a top leaves the circuit you must back to the point of throwing. When a top push away to oher one the player is thrown out.

JUMPING THE ROPE LA COMBA This game is very easy. We just need a group of friends and a rope. Everybody is prepared to jump in a line. Two people hang the rope in their sides moving the rope in circles. The rest of the people jump into the rope singing a song.

MAKING STRING FIGURES We need a string or an elastic band. This game is played in couples. We make a knot with the string. The game consists of making string figures. The couple who make all the figures in the shortest period of time, win the game. Every figure has its name. The first one is called: te cat´s cradle; the second one ; the diamond; the third one: the candles and so on and so forth

THE CHINESES LOS CHINOS The game consists of guessing the total number of coins that some players –at least two- keep in their closed hand. Every player uses three coins. This game, a parts from a gambling game; is used as a formula to decide who pays the drinks in a bar or things like that. Children it is supposed to bet only marbles or some picture card.

MARBLES LAS CANICAS If they are successful trying to put the marble into the hole, they take for them the rest of the marbles on the ground and they can shoot again. We need a group of friends and of course, marbles. We need also a flat place to play, then we make a hole on the ground about 10 x10cms. It´s important to agree on the rules before starting. We can play for keeping marbles that you win or for friends. You keep all of your marbles back at the end of the game. Players take turns shooting marbles pinching them un their index fingers and flicking them with their thumbs.
