4. What is the EYFS? (Early Years Foundation Stage)
The Development Matters document along with the EYFS creates a national curriculum for children aged 0-60 months

7. How can you help?
Encourage your child to be independent, for example, go to the toilet, wash their hands, put on and fasten their coats, put on their shoes
Playing games which encourage sharing and turn taking will help your child to build their social skills

Reading books and talking about books with your child (or magazines, leaflets etc)

Comparing things which are heavy and light or long and short
