3 Home Upgrade Program Changes
Minimum points required for eligibility increases from 100 to 150 Base Measure Kickers removed (15 points for 2nd base measure and 20 points for 3rd base measure) These changes apply to all applications submitted after April 15, 2016 at 11:59 pm.

4 Home Upgrade Program Changes
Home Upgrade point structure remains the same 150 points = $1,500 Additional 10 points = $100 Maximum rebate = $3,000

5 Home Upgrade Pathway Example
Attic Insulation R44, Air Seal 15%, Duct Seal 10% Existing Rebate Structure: Qualifies for 2nd and 3rd base measure kickers = 115 points + 35 bonus = 150 150 points = $1,500 After April 15th, the kickers will be removed and the minimum points increase to 150.

6 Home Upgrade Pathway Example
Attic Insulation R44, Air Seal 15%, Duct Replacement/Seal 6% = 155 155 points = $1,500 Combining base measures with a flex measure (e.g. duct insulation or gas storage water heater) is one alternative and inexpensive approach.

7 Advanced Home Upgrade Changes
The incentive structure changes for AHU are moving forward (unless we hear otherwise from PG&E).

Total Incentive E = (B+C+D) ≤ $6,500.    + $0.75/kWh and $2.00/therm = Final Incentive amount (maximum $6,500) 10-20% $500 20-30% $1,000 30-40% $2,000 40%+ $3,000

9 Advanced Home Upgrade Changes
Zip codes eligible for AC and pool pump incentives went into effect on March 1, 2016 Post-installation applications submitted by April 15, 2016 are eligible for the old zip code list Post-installation applications submitted after April 15 (11:59 pm) are eligible for the new list homeupgrade.org/2016-ac-and-pool-pump-kickers-zip-codes

10 Key Dates March 1: New AC and pool pump kicker zip codes effective. April 15: Last day to submit Home Upgrade applications to qualify for existing structure. April 15: Last day to submit Advanced post-installation to qualify for old AC & pool pump incentive zip code list. May 1: Last day to submit Advanced Pre-install to qualify for existing structure. June 1: Last day to submit EnergyPro post-installation applications. Pre-installation must have been received by February 1, Aug 1: Last day to submit post-install apps to qualify for existing structure. (Pre-install must have been submitted by May 1, 2016)
