What else did we learn ? TOTEM CM – 18 March 2009F. Ravotti-Status of Active/Passive RadMon13 I Max = 18kA CMS Field does not induce noticable changes (after proper grounding); Test and debug the PVSS control function with > 35000 readout cycles. Grounding of the Power Supplies; Temp. behaviour on the RPMB in function of cooling conditions (det. OFF: T~13 C while T (Si) =-35 C)

RadMon Control Software TOTEM CM – 18 March 2009F. Ravotti-Status of Active/Passive RadMon14 RadMon ELMBs use different data handling; Prototype of PVSS ctr. function developed & tested: now used in the RPMB Test Panel of Lab. 555 (Ivan) Sizable work for the DCS team (D2-to-D5); Sequential readout of 3 ISCs (1 PP board) in ~ 30s. ISC1 SW OFF NTC SW ON READ sens. & curr. SW OFF ISC2 SW OFF NTC... Needs to be integrated in the global DCS structure; Proper logic to be fully defined and implemented.
