Developing State-specific guidelines related to roundabouts?
~ Nope Future of roundabouts in New Jersey ~ 2 in design, RT 29 & Scudder Falls Bridge. Enforcement and Education Interaction ~ Very little to date.

Modified Circles with some Roundabout features:
~ RT 28 Westfield Circle ~ RT 206 Red Lion Circle New Jersey Roundabout Experience No “true” modern roundabouts on state highways. We have a modified a couple of circles to give them some of the attributes of a modern roundabout. RT 28 Westfield Circle – Yield at Entry & Approaches have Deflection RT 70 Asbury Circle - Yield at Entry & Approaches have Deflection, Did not reduce the diameter of the central island resulting in low speed entering traffic having to merge with high speed circulating traffic

Several on non-state roads
Allwood Road Circle largest traffic volume Denow Road in Hopewell We did not have a count at the Circle; we had a count about a mile away on CR 602 of daily traffic at (2005). Very close to this location is Route 3; the counting station there has the volume on Rt. 3 at 124,050 (2007). All in all, I believe the volume on the circle is significant. Pat
