Plagiarism/Cheating Tutorials Sign up for Remind Make up Issues
Neither will be tolerated. Students plagiarizing/cheating or assisting in either will receive a zero for the work. Students will not be allowed to retest or make up the work. The consequences are the same for Check for Understanding grades, Relevant Application grades and Summative Assessment grades. The English III Team believes consistency concerning absences and make-up work will eliminate confusion and unfairness. The guidelines below will be followed by all English III teachers and students. Absences/ Field Trips: When a student is absent (illness, doctor, dentist, etc.), he/she is responsible for making up the work in a timely manner. Students will have the same number of days they missed to make up daily work. Exams should be made up within five days. Make-up exams may be an essay. Students returning from an absence should do the following: Check calendar/makeup folder/teacher for work missed. Hand in previously assigned homework that was due. Make an appointment for a make-up quiz or test. Pick up assignments given on the date of absence. Extra Credit Policy The English III Team does not provide opportunities for extra credit. Students who are diligent in their work should not need additional assignments . Tutorials Sign up for Remind Students needing to make up assignments, take quizzes, or reteach/retest must do so after school. Late busses leaving at 4:30 are available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for those students requiring transportation.
