SUPPLYING EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION: PATHWAYS TO CYBER EMPLOYMENT FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ORGANIZATION AND CONTACT INFORMATION Current Plans and Efforts to Help Teachers Prepare Students for Pathways Into Cyber Jobs ORGANIZATION National CyberWatch Center (NCC) and Catalyzing Computing and Cybersecurity in Community College (C5) NCC – Information Security Curricular Resources; and C5 – Cyber Curriculum Contact Information Dr. Elizabeth Hawthorne, Casey O’Brien, List the opportunities being offered for in this quad. Include certifications and clearance requirements. Both, NCC and C5 offer opportunities for participation for teachers. C5 also has a special program and workshops for APCSP teachers. The 3CS (Community College Cyber Summit) in August in Portland, OR, offers workshops for teachers and faculty and a special track and Job Fair for students. Resources to Help Teachers Prepare High School Students For Cyber Employment-Training, Certifications and Degree Programs Summary of Findings and Recommendations for Preparing High School Teachers NCC offers a curriculum leading to 6 degree programs, 10 certificates and 34 technical courses available on the website. C5 offers a cyber curriculum that consists of instructional modules, Instructor Guide, labs and assessment all available on the website. List current programs and partnerships particularly with students coming from high school to college to work. Include recruiting approaches, apprenticeships, training and education resources, incentives National Student Organization, National Cyber League, and the 3CS conference all offer opportunities and resources to students. Include recruiting approaches, apprenticeships, training and education resources, incentives Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2014 (Public Law ; December 18, 2014) The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), led by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the U.S. Department of Commerce, is a partnership between government, academia, and the private sector focused on cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development. Located in the Information Technology Laboratory  at NIST, the NICE Program Office operates under the Applied Cybersecurity Division,  positioning the program to support the country’s ability to address current and future cybersecurity challenges through standards and best practices. Working with DoEd for CTE cybersecurity model programs, worked with Girl Scouts (aligned to 3 NICE framework KU, and helped develop PLTW cyber content, CST cyber in standards, CSforAll, CS framework –cross mapping NIST/NICE framework with K12 standards

Scriyb works with Enterprise, Government, and Education to scale live experts teaching CyberSecurity, Game Design, and can include a walled-off Virtual Cyber lab for practice or Cyber-range events. (The Cisco Networking Academy) Cisco licenses at NO COST, a compendium of IT courses to schools around the globe. These courses are offered through our award winning program known as the Cisco Networking Academy. Courses include Networking, CyberSecurity, Security, IOT & Data Analytics, Programming, Business, OS & IT and Digital Literacy.
