2. Purpose and Intended Outcome
Provide an update on Green IT progress including group leadership transition, e-waste and green printing, and sustainable IT standards.
Intended Outcome
Agreement from CIO Council to:
ratify, promulgate and implement the proposed Sustainable IT standards
implement a simple, annual reporting process by School CIOs with OFS and the Green IT working group that frames a) local progress against the Sustainable IT standards over the preceding year, and b) plans for the following year.
ratify the importance of secure, sustainable treatment of Harvard community e- waste, and commit to improving local practices between IT and Facilities/Operations groups and the Campus Services Recycling group.
