Male perpetrators of family violence know, learn and practice violent behaviour from a young age. Many of today’s men grew up in violent environments and have gone on to re-create these environments for their own families.
Men who have survived violent childhoods find it hard to unlearn all their negative and violent instincts. They want to be free for the sake of their families, loved ones, and personal peace of mind and happiness.
Safe Man Safe Family (SMSF) is a program designed for men by men, to champion men to learn life skills in how to be safe with themselves, and safe for their families.

- An after-work hours call-in facility (e.g. between 5pm-7pm or 5am-7am) for men to drop in before going home to their families - Time out for men to share about their day and leave behind any anger or frustrations generated whilst at their work place - SafeMen then go home with a ‘clear head’ keeping their families and homes a peaceful, caring, nurturing , healthy, SAFE environment
