Motion Capture Company Relies on Microsoft Azure to Grow and Pivot with Industry Needs

Prior to moving to the cloud, Kinetisense ran on local networks. By operating locally, Kinetisense lacked the ability to scale globally and provide durable, highly available, secure storage solutions for Kinetisense users. Employing a user-friendly interface and patent pending methods, Kinetisense is a commercially available solution capable of objectively analyzing posture, balance, range of motion and movement patterns in real time. SOLUTION Kinetisense required a cloud-based solution that the Microsoft Azure platform and its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provided. The highly scalable cloud has improved overall reach and kept pace with growing data needs. The data produced by Kinetisense is now accessible globally. Microsoft Azure also meets a broad set of international and country- specific health care security standards, including HIPAA (USA), G-Cloud (UK), and MTCS (Singapore). Microsoft Azure has given Kinetisense the ability to grow and change to meet industry needs. BENEFITS Using the Microsoft Azure platform, Kinetisense has cut costs, increased global reach, accelerated development, and improved overall process. Kinetisense has observed a 30 percent increase in sales to Canadian customers since it began utilizing the Microsoft Azure data center.
