Moss, grasses, sedges, hare, snowy owl, Arctic fox, caribou, polar bear
ABIOTIC:
Cold winter, poor soil, strong winds, short summer days, rocky, little precipitation (snow)

6. Boreal Forest (Taiga) South of Tundra BIOTIC:
Coniferous trees, squirrels, moose, black bear, wolves
ABIOTIC:
Lots of precipitation, low sunlight, acidic soil, hot summers and cold winters

Grasses, wildflowers, rattlesnakes, prairie dogs, elk, bison
ABIOTIC:
Little rainfall, windy, most fertile soil
