Will the school counselor keep my secrets?
Your conversation will be kept confidential/private with these exceptions: 1. You are hurting yourself or someone else 2. You or someone else are at risk of being harmed 3. You agree to have me share information with others 11/21/2018

Won’t the kids think I am in trouble or there is something wrong with me? * You are not “crazy” to see a school counselor for help. I don’t do therapy. I am just here to support you and your learning. *I DON”T GIVE DETENTIONS, SUSPENSIONS. I AM NOT A PRINCIPAL. 11/21/2018

Will my parents/teachers/friends find out I went to see the counselor?
We decide together what you or I tell unless it is one of the 3 exceptions. Part of a group/club: your parents must sign a permission slip. 11/21/2018

How, when, and where do I see Mrs. Blue?
Fill out a referral form(your teacher’s have them) See me before school, in halls, at lunch. Appointment: student, parent, teacher or administrator referral, your grades, or to be part of a group. Counselor’s Office 11/21/2018
