Typical School Day School Uniforms (with so many rules)
School is from 8am to 4pm, with two breaks. Three terms (semesters) No long summer vacation! Café lunch pre-set or a la carte. Final exam of primary school after 8th grade. Final exam of secondary school after 12th grade. (hardest exam I have ever taken!)

Typical Holiday There are 4 Kenyan Public holidays – Madaraka Day, Moi Day, Kenyatta Day and Jamhuri Day. Easter Vacation, August Vacation, Christmas Vacation. Sports and park drives.

Quality of education in public schools is poor but is free. Quality of education in private schools is better but the students have to pay.
