An educated solution to your question.Your best possible answer. Your hypothesis should be based on what you already know or have learned from research. It is an “If…then… because…” statement.

Materials needed Your materials may be many or few. Always start with pen or pencil and paper as your first two pieces of material needed. Materials are listed in column form and bulleted.

Procedure The procedure will be written in complete sentences.
It will be numbered in step by step format. It should be very precise. It should be giving directions.

Procedures Always begin procedures with, “Gather your materials.”
The Second step is, “Create a data chart for recording observations.” The last step in your procedures will be, “Record your results.” A procedure may have many steps or few.

Result Statement The results statement tells
the reader what you actually saw happen. It is usually only a few sentences long and should be supported by the graphs and/or charts

Conclusion The conclusion is the most difficult part of the lab but is not impossible. The conclusion should explain WHY you got the results that you did. It will either prove or disprove your hypothesis.

Conclusion The conclusion is also where you tell what might have gone wrong in your procedures. It will state what you’ve learned and what you could do with the information you gained.
