Jordan Harris Jordan is currently the Director of the Client Project Success Team at MassIT He has 30 years experience running large-scale IT driven business transformation and technology projects And over 15 years of experience on key Commonwealth IT projects, across all Secretariats and Independents Most recently Jordan has been the Program manager of DOR’s Tax Modernization Project – GeniSys Currently works as a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst for the Executive Office of Education. She has held multiple positions in the Commonwealth for over 15 years. As her accent reveals English is not her native language and has followed a longitudinal migration trajectory from South America to North America. From a personal and professional perspective she has embraced change, flexibility, collaboration and iterative communication in a goal oriented fashion. These are attributes that align well with the Agile principles which she has embraced in the development and implementation of projects in both the education and information technology arena. Lessons learned on the projects have circled around scope re-assessment, task prioritization, risks, individual’s unconscious biases and language of communication. Successful experience with projects following Agile principles have been: Data visualization Migration of EEC website to Mass.Gov platform EEC Licensing EEC Improper Payment (Audit Application) MILES program (Middlesex Institute for Lifelong Education for Seniors) - Education
