Weight Certification All wrestlers need to be certified to wrestle Weight Certification Process:
16
Weight Certification Form
Parents will circle the weight on this sheet that they feel is healthy to wrestle at. Parents cannot circle a weight below what the doctor recommended Reminder: Wrestlers will be given a two pound growth allowance on January 1st Wrestling Form:
17
WEIGHT CERTIFICATION All wrestlers will naturally lose weight throughout the season due to the intensity of the workouts If a wrestler is certified at 145 pounds and weighs 140 at the end of the season this wrestler cannot wrestle at 140 and will only be able to wrestle 145 and above Reminder- Just because a wrestler is certified at a weight it does not mean they have to go there. A good judgment of what weight they should wrestle at is at the end of the season
18
Staying Healthy It is important that all wrestlers shower after all workouts It is important that all wrestlers have two sets of clean clothes available It is important that all wrestlers use a clean towel everyday It is important that all wrestlers are eating healthy and taking a multivitamin
19
Skin Issues All skin issues need to be immediately reported to the coaches. Coaches will conduct skin checks 2-3 times a week. Wrestlers with skin issues will not be allowed to practice until seen by a physician and the area is clear Lamisil will take care of most issues we see
20
Skin Issues Form If a skin issue occurs during the season this form must be filled out by a Doctor and shown at weigh-ins proving that the area is being treated.
