Congenital Disabilities

These conditions are apparent after birth, and can be diagnosed in immediately after birth, or sometimes later on in the life span. Disability was caused during birth because of a premature birth, trauma during delivery or an abnormally prolonged labor. Sometimes the doctor cant identify what are the causes.

What are the special needs of physical disabled people?
they need personal care assistants with them in order that they can be safe, well, active and have full access to the wider world. They need somewhere accessible to live, with a hoist to enable safe transfers from wheelchair to bed to toilet to shower chair securely and without risk of injury.

24
How can we and our government better for the needs of physically disabled people?
We can assist a person with a disability (PWD) when the person asks for assistance. The government needs to streamline the process to get Social Security Disability.
25
How can we build a harmonious campus and society with people with different or special needs and ability? We are all different. We have never been the same, had the same ideas, or think the same and it was a place that allowed the differences. We can accept one another and allow those differences that make the world wonderful, we cannot have a climate of helping each other. It is allowing the differences, and not insisting all be the same. It is time to think about getting along with others and improve our relationships and help each other encourage growth with all those we work with. Life is not about being better than others. It is about getting along with others.
26
Reflection We learn something about physical disabled people.
