Members include bedside clinicians as chairs with leadership mentors
empower and engage nurses in cultivating strong professional practice at UCLA Health
foster nursing excellence
promote professional development, nurse recognition
promote a positive image of professional nursing
System level: Professional Development Council (PDC)
Members include bedside clinicians as chairs, SE Council Chairs, chairs of other system councils and leadership mentors
provides a mechanism for UCLA Health nurses to participate in analyzing their own developmental and learning needs
enhance clinical competency, ongoing knowledge and skill development
promote continuous professional growth.
