2 Types of Number in Sweden
Geographic Numbers -   Geographic numbers are fixed line numbers with a physical termination at the customer end. Non Geographic Numbers – Non geo Numbers / Free phone numbers are Toll free Numbers. 21 November 2018 Presentation title

3 Porting windows and Procedure
Sweden have the standard porting windows which begins from 08:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday). Porting team receives the Porting request from different channels Either from AE, colt reseller or direct customer. The Port date is being set according to the Industrial lead time of 10 working days after receiving all the necessary details in the Porting form (LOA). Once a Porting Date has been agreed with customer, the Porting Team will initiate the Porting process and notify customer time to time. If customer does not wishes to Port on the scheduled date then Porting team needs to be notified at least two days prior to Port date as in Sweden all Ports are fixed Port which are auto completed by current provider on scheduled date and time 21 November 2018 Presentation title

4 Necessary Information Required
To Port both Geo and Non Geo numbers we require LOA to initiate the Process with Below details Customer details with address. Numbers which need to be Ported in. LOA to be duly signed by customer. Letter of authority should have Subscriber ID , an important information to proceed with the Porting request. Subscriber ID is of 12 digits and in case of short ID “0” padding will be done to complete 12 digits. Note : Lead time to Port both Geo and Non Geo is 10 Working days and Lead time starts from the day when Porting team submits the request. 21 November 2018 Presentation title

5 Reasons for Refusal of Porting Request
Subscriber ID incorrect. Number not associated with stated subscriber. Desired time of porting not possible. Number has been assigned to a new subscriber. Number Not Portable. Note : In the case of such rejection, the customer shall directly contact their current service provider to obtain the correct details to progress the porting 21 November 2018 Presentation title

6 Port In Scenario Order is accepted by the Current Provider
Porting team notifies the one handling the request (either the AE, Customer or Colt reseller) of the acceptance. As these are fixed-line Ports, the Porting team starts the porting process and notifies the customer upon port completion. 21 November 2018 Presentation title

7 Port In Scenario 2 (Rejection)
Port gets rejected for any valid reason. Porting Team sends an to customer / AE / Colt reseller to notify them that the Port has been rejected and needs to liaise with the Current Provider to get the correct information. Porting Team only liaise directly with current Provider where there is an invalid rejection. On receiving the correct information, the Porting team resubmits the request. 21 November 2018 Presentation title

8 Technical View of Porting
All activation and scheduling regarding Porting is done by the Sweden Porting team, who can be contacted at or / As the Port is auto-completed on scheduled date and time, the Porting team makes the technical changes on the Colt network at same time. Porting team test the numbers and notifies customer / AE / Colt reseller about successful completion. Customer / AE / Colt reseller to notify Porting Team via (or call), confirming all testing has been completed and the port has been successful.
