2. Introduction
When Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs in he hit 14% of all home runs in his league that year. A player would need to hit over 300 home runs in one season to do that today.
Steroids has effected baseball from the players, to the fans, to the owners.
Steroids have changed baseball into a home run hitting game
Many organizations weren’t getting the player the signed during the steroid era.
The growth of faster, cheaper computers and the internet created the industry. Not really an industry before the 1990s.
Today, there are certifications processes and trade associations, like the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA), which promote accountability, awareness and support.

4. Steroids changed baseball into a home run game
Traditionally baseball was a game of contact hitting not power hitting.
Baseball had hit a combined 3000 homers on average almost every year for 30 years prior to the steroid era,
From 1998 until 2006, the league hit over 5000 home runs per year.
All the excitement brought fans to the ballpark.
Baseball’s Performance Enhancing Drug testing has come along way, and nearly all players, today, are clean.

Many steroid users were offered big contracts during the era, and after stopping steroid usage, they weren’t as productive.
Magglio Ordóñez, Jason Giambi were both players reported for taking steroids
Ordóñez stats decreased right after signing a big contract with Detroit in 2004, and Giambi was not very productive after signing a big contract with New York.
Owners all over the league had players in this situation.

6. How will steroid affect Hall of Fame voting
Many of the greatest players to ever play the game have been alleged steroid users; Bonds, Sosa, Clemens, McGuire, etc…
There hasn’t been a lot time to see how steroids will effect voting.
However, observing the number of players who have joined the 500 club in the last decade, the credentials for the Hall of Fame has increased; ex. Mark McGuire
