1. Updating Java
Go to Java.com with-in the browser, Firefox or Internet Explorer. This example is with-in firefox

2. Click on Free Download

3. Agree to the tirms!

4. Save the file then go to your downloads

5. Click on download arrow and select downloads

6. Click on the icon and double click on the java application

7. The Welcome popup will come up and select Install

8. The most important part, always select Do not update browser settings, then select next

9. Installation will occur then click close

10. Verify the installion

11. Click on Activate Java

12. Click on Allow and Remember

13. Click on Run to run the application

14. The results should look like this, if not you may have to close the browser and verify again or reload java
