The dot plot shows the writing scores for a group of students
The dot plot shows the writing scores for a group of students. Describe the data. You may want to discuss the shape, spread and/or center of the data. The values range from 0 – 6. There is a peak at 3. The median is 3, which means 50% of the scores are greater than or equal to 3 and 50% are less than or equal to 3. The mean is 3.68. If all students scored the same, the score would be 3.68.
