Analytics is an encompassing and multidimensional field that uses mathematics, statistics, predictive modeling and machine-learning techniques to find meaningful patterns and knowledge in recorded data.
Analytics is the discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in data. Relies on the simultaneous application of statistics, computer programming and operations research to quantify performance.
