Attendance You need to come to school EVERYDAY!!!
See your AP secretary if you have questions about makeup hours. You may not purchase a ticket or attend prom if you owe hours.

Attendance During STAAR & AP Exams, many students leave with a PARENT note after an exam. THESE COUNT AGAINST YOU!!!

Grades Please turn in your work.
Take care of your ACP and/or Online courses NOW, not LATER! If you are failing a class that you need for graduation, you may not graduate and will need to attend Summer School to earn your credits.

Important Information about Prom!
Theme: “A Night of Elegance” Tickets are 75.00, and the LAST day to buy them is Friday, May 18th. Don’t forget to get a non-Byron date form from AC 347. We’ll pass out official prom tickets the week of May 21st. Food: Appetizers and Desserts We will have three photographers and a photo booth at prom, and we’ll give you a website link to be able to order pics from the event.

Important Information about Prom Cont.’d
Parking: if you valet, it is $16 per car. There is free parking all around Sundance Square if you do not want to pay the valet fee. Valet: there is a separate valet entrance for prom. Please follow signs. Do not wander around the hotel. Vote for Prom Court: (open now until 4:00 on Friday) byron.voting4schools.com Final voting for Prom King and Queen will be the week of May 21st.

$$$$ Fines Pay them ASAP!!
All fines must be paid before purchasing a prom ticket. If you do not attend prom, all fines must be paid before Graduation. If you still have fines on June 2, you will be able to walk at graduation; however, you will NOT receive your diploma until your balance is $0!

Senior Events Prom – May 26, 2018
Scholarships due to Mrs. Huizenga or Mrs. Miller by Friday, May 4 at 4:00pm. No exceptions! Royal Awards - May 25th Report to the PAC no later than 8:30am!! “Sunday Best” - no strapless dresses; use the dress code as a guide! We will line up in the PAC and walk into the gym at 9:00am. Senior Walk – after Royal Awards Senior Picnic – Cannon Park (across from Hawaiian Falls) Senior Sunset – May 30, 7:30pm

Graduation Practice Friday, June 1 Report to the PAC at 8:40am DO NOT BE LATE!!! Practice should conclude around 10:30am.

Elections Class Marshals-Voting ends Monday, May 7th @ Noon The two teachers with the most votes will be named as Class Marshals, and will lead the class in behind the Top 10 Link to vote (using your NISD credentials): Link to vote will also be available via Twitter.

Graduation Procedures
No cell phones or other personal belongings! Enter through the West Tunnel-no regalia on! No hangers!! Students will be allowed to enter the west tunnel at beginning at 12:15. Upon entering the West Tunnel, you will be wanded, then receive your name card. After you receive your card, proceed to the holding area, where you will put your regalia on. No Cell Phones! Don’t make Graduation about You! Always follow your line leader!!! PLEASE behave yourself on stage!!!

Graduation Guidelines
No Cell Phones or electronics of any kind. No Personal Belongings-leave everything with your family or in your car. Any personal belongings brought into the holding area, will be donated. Business Professional Dress-Stay Classy! No Cell Phones For Your Family No Idiots After the ceremony concludes, you will not be able to enter the holding area, as Eaton HS will be preparing for their ceremony. We will not hold any cell phones for students. DO NOT bring your cell phone or personal belongings of any kind. Car keys are the ONLY exception!

Graduation UNT does not allow the following!! No Decorations On Your Caps! No Glitter No Markers No Foam Letters – Nothing! No Air Horns or noisemakers of any kind! No Beach Balls! No Silly String! Please do NOT throw your diplomas into the air. You may not get yours back and we can not get you another copy.

Graduation Cords Cords have arrived!
Please see Mrs. Miller in the front office at the following times: before or after school, and during lunches only. All cords must be picked up by Friday, May 11th. Any extra cords will be available to purchase beginning Monday, May 14th – exact cash or check only! Each cord is $10
