Objectives Knowledge Exchange Forum for Strategic Discussions on EU Better Regulation Agenda Specific Project by EU Member States Set Up Informal Network Biannual Meetings organised by upcoming EU Presidency Objectives are twofold: exchange of good practices and experiences between member states, recent projects mainly focused on RIA Forum for Strategic Discussions on Eu Better Regulation Agenda The Group sees itself as complementary platform to formal Council Formations such as Ecofin. Thus, the group has an informal network character.

Better Regulation is a broad strategy to improve the regulatory environment in Europe - containing a range of initiatives to consolidate, codify and simplify existing legislation and improve the quality of new legislation by better evaluating its likely economic, social and environmental impacts.
