3. Mercury II Encoder Family
Explain the three Mercury II models:
MII4000: high performance with A-quad-B output; programmable resolution up to 1.2nm; includes limits; works with tape or glass, linear or rotary.
MII1900: high performance with analog 1Vpp sin/cos output for customer interpolation up to x4096 (5nm); works with linear tape or glass; stick-on index.
MII1600: 0.5m resolution and repeatability, A-quad-B output; works with linear tape; stick-on index.
