You can spend a full year working and saving up money whether it's to spend freely or to pay for tuition (this can be extremely helpful). 66% of students took their job more seriously after taking a gap year 2.5 million people are planning a gap year You can study in another country and immerse yourself in a new culture and/or environment. 8 of top 100 universities are Australian 5/30 best student cities in the world are in Australia There are over 60,000 English-taught programmes in Australia

4 Advantages Studying in a different country can be a great experience. Working with new resources and learning different techniques can really change your perspective. As well as being immersed in a new environment and culture. You can also take this opportunity to learn a new sport or take up a new hobby.

It’s costly - Monthly cost can cost around $1,600 to $2,300 a month Work visas can take a long time
