What is Disaster Recovery
Disaster recovery is a plan which allows a business to function in the event of a disaster such as a hurricane that destroys part or all of a business's resources. Including IT equipment, data records and the physical space of an organization.

Where is it used? It is used within organisations.

Why is it used? This is used to inform users on what procedures to take to minimize the impact and return the company to working order as quickly as possible.
