How it was formed? Lake Titicaca was right next to the Andes Mountains and right between the border of Peru and Bolivia. It is formed about sixty million years ago during the Ice-Age. The Lake was formed when massive earthquakes shook the ground of the Andes mountains. Splitting the range into two and forming a hollow that soon enough melted glaciers filled the hollow with water. First creating bodies of water, then rivers and at last the immense huge Lake Titicaca. The area which now stands lake Titicaca, home to animals and indigenous communities.

Does Lake Titicaca deserve to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Western Hemisphere?
I think Lake Titicaca does deserve to be a wonder, because what most interests me is it’s UNDERWATER RUINS! I saw images of temples, treasures buried under Lake Titicaca surface. And don’t get me started talking about fish! Do you know how much I wonder about catfish? I can’t believe how they got those whisker like features, they even live in the shallower regions of Lake Titicaca. I also wonder about their people, how do they live around the Lake, how do they get food, do they really transport everywhere by boat? Wow! What a wonder!
