2. Outbreaks of PPR since 2010
No cases of PPR have reported in Bahrain since 2010, except of a suspected outbreak in one farm in 2014, which has been investigated and found negative as detailed below:
Number of suspected animals: 450 sheep and goat
Location: Northern governorate.
Mortalities: 25%
Samples: 208 serum samples were collected.
Lab. Test: ELISA – Local Laboratory.
Results: Negative
