1 Summer Math Curse 2017 Ashlin Cornelius

2 First Math Story My sister and I went to a camp called Finish Line for Lacrosse. I went for a full day and my sister Grayson went for a half day. Full day was 9-3pm and half day was 9-12pm. We went for 5 days. How many more hours did I practice lacrosse than my sister Grayson?

3 Second Math Story My sister and I learned how to roll money this summer. We rolled quarters, dimes and nickels. Each sleeve of quarters equaled $10. Each sleeve of dimes equaled $5. Each sleeve of nickels equaled $2. How many quarters, dimes and nickels did we put in each sleeve? We rolled 8 sleeves of quarters, 4 sleeves of dimes and 4 sleeves of nickels. How much money did we roll in total?

4 Third Math Story One summer morning we made waffles for a bunch of our friends that spent the night. We decided to double the recipe, so we had enough batter for everyone. The recipe called for: 2 Cups Bisquick 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil 1 Egg 1 ⅓ Cups of Milk How much of each ingredient do I need for a double batch?
