Use a homegrown billing system. Can be difficult to work with. Were importing weekly revenue information from their various sources of funding (including multiple forms of government, charities, and individual contributors). Also imported service user (resident/participant) information, including contract type, date of birth, start date, appointee (support worker).
The ability with Detailed Planning Manager to evaluate the costs of running their services (daycares, permanent housing, live-in and live-out service workers) lets them know whether they need additional government funding, to understand utilization levels (of resident beds occupied/unoccupied and of support worker productivity), and which locations are economically viable.
Service Directors input budget information, including type of worker, pay rate, number of hours required, occupancy rates, overhead expenses, and more.
Sun Systems is their G/L. We integrate with Sun for their actuals and push the budget back from Prophix to Sun so that they can run reports from their Sun system.
