The horizontal lines with the percentages marked are from our random SN model (Erlykin et al., 2003). The model gives spectral profiles from which the S-values are derived.

9 Conclusions: There is evidence for a ‘New Component’ of CR below about 300GV. About 25% of the CR energy is in this component. Mass composition of NC favours refractories ( except for silicon). Origin: Local Bubble? Important role for OB associations.
