2 Warmup What is the smallest ecosystem you can think of?
What is the largest ecosystem you can think of? Look around the room and identify all of the ecosystems.

3 What is a biosphere? A biosphere is the part of Earth that supports life. Consists of: top portion of the Earth’s crust all waters that cover the Earth’s surface atmosphere that surrounds Earth Biosphere Egg – developed by Nasa Perfectly ecologically balanced mix of plant, algae and animal life surviving with daily input of light only.

4 Ecology: study of interactions that occur among organisms and their environment.
What is an ecosystem? 1. Without using your book, in your jpurnal make a quick list of the components (parts) of an ecosystemI 2. Pair with your table partner and share your list.

5 An ecosystem consists of:
