Spheres of The Earth
2
Lithosphere The lithosphere is the solid, rocky crust covering the Earth. It covers the surface of earth from the top of Mount Everest to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The lithosphere is divided into a lot of crustal plates that is what a plate tectonic is.
3
Hydrosphere The water cycle, what the hydrosphere consist of
( rivers, aquifers, and precipitation) The hydrosphere is composed of all water on or close to the earth. This includes the oceans, rivers, lakes, and even the moisture in the air. Ninety – seven percent of the Earth’s water is in the oceans. The hydrosphere is often called the “water sphere” Water is found in vapor, liquid, and solid states in the atmosphere.
4
Atmosphere The atmosphere of Earth is a layer of gases covering the core. The atmosphere protects live on earth without an atmosphere there would be no live on Earth. The atmosphere is a mixture of nitrogen, oxygen, and other gases. The atmosphere blocks some of the sun’s dangerous rays.
5
Biosphere The part of the Earth’s crust, waters, and atmosphere that supports life. It includes between 3 and 30 million kinds of plants, animals, and fungi. The biosphere extends over the Earth’s surface in a thin layer. all living things on Earth
6
Magnetosphere The Earth has a magnetic field
with north and south poles. The Earth's magnetic field reaches 36,000 miles into space. The magnetic field of the Earth is surrounded in a region called the magnetosphere. The magnetosphere prevents most of the particles from the sun from hitting the Earth. Some particles from the solar wind can enters the magnetosphere. The particles that enter create northern lights.
7
Their Interactions All of the spheres of the Earth are constantly interacting with each other. Which Spheres are interacting in this scenario: A bird flying and then landing by a lake and drinking from it.
