14 Illusory Self Concept : It is simply an illusion
*Illusory Self Concept : It is simply an illusion. Children are free of assumed limitations. As we grow older we become highly influenced by outside sources which for better or worse mold our self image thereby influencing our choices in life. "I'm not interested in doing THAT” we are really feeling"I can't do well at THAT!" *Fear of Failure : To break this cycle one must make peace with failure. Failure is nothing more than a teacher. We need to appreciate failure. Failure teaches us about our limitations and shows one's potential and greatness *Destructive Self Criticism : Babies are free of self criticism. They treat success the same as failure; they simply experience. The greatest advice for each one of us is to be gentle with ourselves. Think back to being a kid and how care-free we once wereà how society viewed us was not even a part of our cognitive scope *Lack of Focus : Ultimately the mind dissolved in pure attention becomes focused awareness. Pure attention can best be understood as having no distractions. Listen to classical music

15 Creative Visualization : Much of our mind set comes from years and years of negative programming. This programming can be reversed with new programming with the use of our imagination to create a new mind set. Since form follows idea it is necessary to create a whole new outlook by creating a new thinking pattern Start to think of yourself succeeding and you can ACTUALIZE your POTENTIAL If one is willing to give it adequate time change is inevitable. Remember you are creating something new within yourself not simply redoing nor changing what exists, you are creating a new point of view.

16 The Importance of Self-Esteem
Self-esteem means you really like yourself, both inside and out. It refers both to how you look and what you believe in. This is also called "positive" or "high" self-esteem. Self Esteem How do I identify with myself How do I judge the value of myself

17 Figure out your strengths and weaknesses
Figure out your strengths and weaknesses. Don't beat yourself up over your weaknesses. Don't compare yourself to others. It's hard at times, but accept yourself. Set realistic goals for yourself. Try to get the most out of your strengths and do your best, without demanding unrealistic results of yourself. Celebrate your achievements. Trust your own feelings. Take it one day at a time. Do your best each day.

18 Spirit Grasping fully who I am within the context of what I am
pursue this indefinitely and passionately seeking your path SELF understanding deals with the outside REAL SELF originates from the inside moving outward (Lady Gaga article: she knew she wanted to be influential and how she acted outwardly how she felt inwardly) Spirituality deals with a deep realization of the gift we truly are involving growth in awareness of our self, others and beginning to comprehend the God behind it all.
