INVESTIGATION exploratory study of the Teaching Learning process in the areas of Language and Communication and Natural Sciences in the Deafblind populations. 2007 – first study Location of the school population of children with deaf blindness and multiple challenges in the Chilean school system, quality of the services they are receiving. 2017 – 2018 Location of the school population of children with deaf blindness and teaching methodologies of science and language and communication.

Research achievements
300 deafblind students are being served in special schools in the different regions of the country. The number of students is directly related to the Chilean population density. Educational services do not meet the quality standards that these students receive It is necessary to train teachers and parents in new methodological strategies

Teachers and parents working together, work in the community, a future plan for children.
Diagnosis of the current and future needs of the families of the students, with priority for training needs in the areas of: communication systems, work in the classroom with students with deafblindness and orientation and mobility Parents, teachers working siting at the teable with books created for trainer.

Training Professionals
The profile answer to the mission stated in this magister that is aimed at "training professionals who are capable of promoting quality and educational innovation, promoting the social inclusion in the work with different age groups, in special or regular schools, with integration projects, hospital centers, classrooms, among others".

The project trained760 people
in Chile Covers 17 regions and the metropolitan regions area was divided into 4 areas. 18 teams consisting of a parent and a professional were formed. Each pair replicate the training in regions oriented to impact school parents, teachers and administrators Chile map long and narrow country, the regions are represented in different colors with a star

Fieldwork questions 2017 – 2018 First stage the census
. The initial census indicates that they are mostly in special schools. A smaller number are in regular schools with Integration Projects Currently deafblind students are being observed in 5 regions of the country. The didactic strategies used in the curriculum areas of Language and Communication and Sciences are evaluated
