Contains fundamentals principles on interstate relations. Provides mechanisms for pacific settlement of disputes.

10 Treaty on the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone 15 December 1995
An undertaking by ASEAN states not to develop, manufacture, acquire, possess, test or use nuclear weapons. Negotiations for the accession of Nuclear Weapon States are underway.
