7. Debunk (v.) To research and expose as false
The show Mythbusters often debunks common theories that are thought to be true.

8. Equivocal (Adj.) Open to two or more interpretations
Music is beautifully equivocal in that each listener can understand a song in his/her own way.

9. Fatuous (adj.; FaT-Chew-Us)
Devoid of intelligence; silly and pointless
Some closed-minded folks are still adamant on the idea that the universe beyond Earth is fatuous.
Spongebob Squarepants is a fatuous kids’ cartoon, and is not meant to be educational.

10. Insidious (adj.)
Subtle or hidden, but with harmful or dangerous effects
Insidious cancer cells can live in the body for years without proper health screenings.

11. Unanimous (adj.) Two or more people in full agreement of a decision
Last year, the Board of Education made the decision for a new dress code, but it was not unanimous.
