3 hours and 15 minutes long and has two parts — multiple choice questions and free response questions. Each section is worth 50% of the final exam grade.
The exam is out of 5.
IB Higher Level Exam
Paper 1: (2 hours)

The exam is out of 7;
(80% external assessment, 20% internal assessment).
