Geometry 2.4 Use Postulates and Diagrams

2 Point, Line, and Plane Postulates
Through any two distinct points there exists exactly one line. A line contains at least two points. If two lines intersect, then their intersection is exactly one point. Through any three noncollinear points there exists exactly one plane.

3 Point, Line, and Plane Postulates
A plane contains at least three noncollinear points. If two distinct points lie in a plane, then the line containing them lies in the plane. If two distinct planes intersect then their intersection is a line.

4 Interpreting a Diagram Perpendicular lines in a plane.
You can only assume information about size or measure ONLY if it is marked. A line is perpendicular to a plane if and only if the line intersects the plane in a point and is perpendicular to every line in the plane that intersects at that point.
