Combined we have 60 years of teaching experience to
share with your child. We do all of our planning as a team.

3. Meet Mrs. Olsen I am a mom to four children and grandmother to three
I have taught in Nevada, Arizona,
Utah and Missouri.
My husband worked for U.S.F.S
I have been teaching 28 years
in grades 1,2,3,and 6th grade.
I have a Masters Degree in Ed.
I love to travel and being outside.

Progress is monitored through DIBELS Next and teacher assessments
Decode multi-syllabic grade level words (phonics)
Read and comprehend unfamiliar informational texts
Retell the main idea with details (including who what when where why in a meaningful sequence) within all reading genres
Make connections and take part in conversations by linking ideas with others’ ideas to deepen understanding
Build a foundation of knowledge through reading and listening to books in history/social studies, science, and other subjects
