Combined we have 60 years of teaching experience to share with your child. We do all of our planning as a team.

Meet Mrs. Olsen I am a mom to four children and grandmother to three
I have taught in Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Missouri. My husband worked for U.S.F.S I have been teaching 28 years in grades 1,2,3,and 6th grade. I have a Masters Degree in Ed. I love to travel and being outside.

Student Behavior PBIS School Rules Think Time Class Rewards
Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible No tolerance of physical aggression, swearing, destruction of property Think Time Class Rewards Students may choose a reward when they earn 20 points. Parents receive a weekly behavior report.

Reading Outcomes By the end of 2nd Grade students will be able to:
Read with a Fluency Rate of 87wpm with 97% accuracy Progress is monitored through DIBELS Next and teacher assessments Decode multi-syllabic grade level words (phonics) Read and comprehend unfamiliar informational texts Retell the main idea with details (including who what when where why in a meaningful sequence) within all reading genres Make connections and take part in conversations by linking ideas with others’ ideas to deepen understanding Build a foundation of knowledge through reading and listening to books in history/social studies, science, and other subjects
