1 Recommendations for success from the Stories & Strategy Team
Start fresh. Take everything off. Consider who from your team can be your “board certified” communicator (maintenance/updater). Engage that person(s) in process early. Place new headers on top of your boards. (Ditch the Imagine Better Health!) Measures: Get the right data! Celebrations: This is the most “personal” of the areas. Make it yours. Though, please do find a way to give progress on your PCA and display the Great Catches. Communications: Get your OneSpirit Weekly up there! And the other “dynamic” messages that make the most sense for your coworkers. (And take down the outdated stuff )

2 Communication Boards (Typically in breakrooms; often more than 1 board) Goal: Create standard visuals (3 headers replace the old “Imagine Better Health”)

3 Communication Boards - sample

4 Common questions What happens to the “static” items?
The communication boards are meant for “dynamic” (ever changing) content. Static items, like org charts, regulatory info, etc. should find another home. Great example: pic of Eddie Davis. Should we keep any of the “SMILE” items? We’ve moved to “Living Our Mission” as our journey to create a great place to work, practice medicine and deliver excellent and compassionate care. Any SMILE materials posted can be disposed of. When will this work commence? Start the new year off with these new tools. What happens to posters on hallway displays? They should be returned to the department’s leader. The materials can be reused in break rooms or other staff areas. The hallway displays are scheduled through March for completion (coordinated with facilities). Questions? Contact Chad Dillard, VP, Marketing via or call
