2. What is a rain forest?
A Rainforest is a place where animals and plants live.
Also the rainforest gets rain almost every day.
A rainforest is a colorful and amazing place.

3. Location of the Rainforests
The rainforests are found in South America, Africa, Australia,and Hawaii.
All rainforests are around the equator.

4. Emergent Layer
In the Emergent Layer there are cool animals like harpy eagles, butterflies, and monkeys.

5. Canopy Layer
The canopy layer has a lot of cool animals like harpy eagles, frogs, parrots, spider monkeys, ants, and sugar gliders.

6. Understory Layer
Some of the animals are Jaguars, macaws, parrots, monkeys, tree porcupine, spiders, snakes, ocelots, katydids, ants, and geckos.

7. Forest Floor
On the forest floor, there are many fallen leaves, fruits, and flowers.
There are huge roots above the ground.
On the forest floor there is lots of animals like jaguars, dragonflies, anteaters, snakes, butterfly, chameleon and ocelots.

Also, they are cutting down trees to make crops for grazing.
Then the land is used for roads, farms, or houses.

People of the rainforest make weapons to hunt animals.
