Attention Seniors: yearbook signing lunch jam
There will be a senior yearbook signing lunch Jam on Friday, May 12th during all 3 lunches. If you have not paid, please make sure you see Ms. Usher in the attendance office. The cost for the lunch Jam is $10 if you have not paid your senior activity fee dues. Money for lunch Jam is due Wednesday, May 10th. Please be sure to check the website frequently for further updates as well as Senor class events calendar. RSVP on the senior website!

Seniors Senior field day is May 24th
if you have not paid please make sure you pay $35 to Ms. Usher in the attendance office no later than Wednesday, May 17th Please be sure to rsvp on the senior webpage and further details for field day will be posted on the senior webpage.

FBLA Members If you participated in any FBLa activities this year, please join for the annual FBLA Awards meeting. The attire is black pants or skirt and white top. The meeting is on May 15th in the library media center after school. Refreshments will be served. See Mrs. Walcott or Coach Jackson for details

Helen ruffin reading bowl
Students who are interested in participating in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl competition for school year, there will be a meeting on May 22nd at 3:30 in the Library media center If you are unable to attend on that date, please see M. Daniels in the library

Attention all students
Early release forms must be returned to your 4th period teachers by Wednesday, may 17th. All forms will be verified before you will be allowed to participate in early release. If you have siblings at the school, only one form is needed per household. Seniors will not need to complete an early release form.

To Choose Life A real discuss on teen isolation & suicide - know the warning signs - Talk with a trusted Adult Call or Text “start” to May 10th Afterschool from 3:40pm-4:15pm in the Media Center

Volleyball tryouts Tryouts will be held on May 10th and 11th from 3:30-6:00pm You must come to tryouts with a Current Physical form on file Physical forms must be turned in to the volleyball Coach

Volleyball tryouts All ladies planning on trying out for volleyball, there will be a brief meeting on Tuesday, May 9th, with Ms. White in room 706 right after school.

World languages scholarship
The DHS International festival senior scholarship will be awarded to 2 students who plan to go above and beyond with foreign language learning To apply, please get an application from the counseling center All applications are due to the World Language Teachers by May 10th. Scholarships awards are $500

HOSA Awards Banquet The HOSA Awards Banquet is Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 6pm RSVP by May 10th

Softball try-Outs Softball Try-Outs will be held on Monday, May 15th and Tuesday, May 16th
