Long Term Residential Facilities: Salvation Army SMOC Jeremiah’s Inn Veterans Administration: Bedford VA Fitchburg Clinic Boston VA Worcester Clinic Colleges: Assumption College Clark University College of the Holly Cross Many facilities in Central Massachusetts provide a wide variety of services to individuals diagnosed with substance-related disorders. In the past there existed limited opportunities for providers and clinical researchers from these facilities to discuss and collaborate on clinical strategies and research endeavors to provide integrated treatment, effective case management, and other services. In order to create such opportunities for collaboration, the Central Massachusetts Addiction Consortium (CMAC) was created to serve as a platform for evidence-based clinical care and state-of-the-art addictions research. CURRENT GOALS Recruit other facilities in Central Massachusetts to join CMAC. Develop collaborative relationships with regional interest groups. Plan and implement projects that serve the needs of diverse members. Implement communication strategies to link the agencies, including a CMAC website. Continue periodic networking meetings to enhance relationships between providers and researchers. INTERESTED IN JOINING CMAC? CMAC welcomes and encourages new members. For information, please contact Monika Kolodziej, PhD, AdCare Hospital, 107 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605
